As part of the Newcastle Jets- ‘My Club- program, a family pass has been offered to every junior football club in the local region.
Clubs such as South Wallsend Junior Soccer Club have used the family pass as a raffle prize in order to raise much needed funds. In South Wallsend-s case, the prize was handed out at the club-s Trivia Night on 5 June and the lucky winner was Under-15-s coach Greg Lane.
Almost $2000 was raised for the club to purchase new equipment as around 125 people attended the fun-filled event.
