Barresi is a graduate from the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) where he worked under current Jets head coach Phil Stubbins. Barresi joins the Jets from Western Sydney Wanderers where he has spent the past two seasons.The 19-year-old creative midfielder is excited to establish himself in the Hyundai A-League with Newcastle in 2014/15.
