Jets show support for worthy community cause

See how the club repays the faith and support of local organisations.

As part of the Newcastle Jets- Alliance Program, a jersey each month is given to a worthy cause in order to lend a helping hand to community organisations that make a request through www.newcastlejets.com.au.

This month, the club has once again repaid the faith and support of those within the community by giving a signed jersey to the Patrick Sharpe Benefit Night.

Unfortunately, 11-year-old Patrick has been unwell but has maintained his support of the Jets throughout. Indeed, during his time of need, Patrick has been the recipient of hospital visits from players such as Matt Thompson, Tarek Elrich and Jets- National Youth League skipper Taylor Regan.

Whilst these visits have certainly lifted Patrick-s spirits, this month-s signed jersey will be auctioned off at a special Benefit Night to be held at Central Charlestown Leagues Club on Friday, 23 April to raise money for some much-needed medical procedures in the near future.

The club wishes Patrick, and all those Jets supporters involved in organising his Benefit Night, all the very best and hope that this gift will go some way to supporting a very worthy cause.

Event Details:
Date: Friday 23 April
Time: 7:00pm
Venue: Central Charlestown Leagues Club. Bula St. Charlestown
