Jets pick goal celebration songs

Each member of the Jets squad has selected the song they want to be played when they score a goal at Hunter Stadium this season.

Each member of the Hunter Ports Newcastle Jets squad has selected the song they want to be played when they score a goal at Hunter Stadium during the 2012/13 A-League season.

There are a number of familiar tunes amongst the 25 songs selected, while quite a few songs have also come out of left field.

The Jets- overseas player contingent didn-t disappoint, with the choices by Domink Ritter (‘L’amico e- by Dario Baldan Bembo) and Tiago Calvano (Danza Kuduro by Don Omar) sure to test the foreign language skills of the Club-s Members and supporters.

Jacob Pepper very appropriately went with the Salt n- Pepa classic ‘Push It-, while James Brown followed suit with the timeless tune by his namesake, ‘Get On Up-.

Jets fans could also be in store for some impromptu dance performances should either Bernardo Ribeiro or Mitch Oxborrow find the back of the net this season.

Bernardo has gone for the immensely popular Michael Telo hit ‘Ai Se Eu Te Pego- while Oxborrow has elected for the dance party favourite ‘Macarena- by Los del Rio. It is understood that both players have the dance moves to each song down pat.

A full list of player songs can be seen below.

Meanwhile, following the FFA-s announcement that each team-s walk out song can be decided by the Club, the Jets have created an online poll which gives Members and supporters the chance to vote for their favourite option.

The poll can be found by CLICKING HERE.
