Jets legends return to field of dreams

The Newcastle Jets today launched its newest initiative – the Past Players suite.

Hundreds of Men and Women have donned the iconic Jets colours since the club’s foundation year in 2008 and now can take in any Jets Men’s or Women’s A-Leagues game on behalf of the club via the dedicated corporate area.

The Past Players suite is open to all former players at every McDonald Jones Stadium match during the 2024/25 season with ticketing also available for the former players to the Jets Women’s games at Maitland Sportsground and No.2.

The past players will also be provided with grandstand ticketing for their families and friends & parking passes.

The Jets have reached out to over 300 former Women’s & men’s players and are calling on any past player who hasn’t been contacted to reach out to the club so they can be part of the program – former players should contact Jason Hoffman on Jason.hoffman@newcastlejetsfc.com.au

“We’ve had a fantastic response to our invitation. We will have close to 50 former players attend Round 1 on Saturday and hope that once word spreads we will have more,” said Newcastle Jets Executive Director Maurice Bisetto.

“The club was built by these past players and we are very focused on having them heavily connected to the club as we embark on this new era.”

The Jets are also extending the offer to any former Socceroo or Matilda that resides in the broader Newcastle region.
