The Hyundai A-League has officially released their fixtures for 2018/19, with the season set to commence on Friday 19 October 2018.
The Jets will kick off their campaign on Sunday 21 October, as they travel to Wellington to take on the Phoenix.
Ernie Merrick’s side will not step out onto McDonald Jones Stadium until Saturday 3 November, with a Grand Final re-match against the Victory their first game in the Hunter.
The Jets will then host a Remembrance Day clash on home soil against Sydney FC on Saturday 10 November.
Newcastle will host two #F3Derbies this season (Round 15 and 22) with full season Members still receiving FREE access to the away fixture (Round 9) as part of their 2018/19 Membership.
There will be two games in Newcastle during the Christmas holiday period, with fixtures on Sunday 30 December (7pm v Adelaide United) and Wednesday 2 January (7.50pm v Brisbane Roar).
It will be a big start to 2019, with the Jets scheduled to play six games during the month of January – including a trip to Perth to face the Glory.
The club will also host three home games in a row during February (7, 15, 24), as well as a home Asian Champions League Qualifier with an away leg to be scheduled once an opponent is determined.
