Having played over 100 games for the Jets, Tarek Elrich is one of the few survivors from the glory days of a championship in season 3 of the A-League.
He has been with the Newcastle Jets since the inception of the A-League in 2005/06 and has definitely left his mark on the club. Known as the ‘bling king-, Tarek is also king of the kids and one of the dressing rooms most gregarious characters.
After a great start this season, having played in all 7 games so far, Elrich is excited for what the rest of the season may bring.
