Today, APL has released the remaining 20 matches for the Isuzu UTE A-League men’s season, which includes an amended home Boxing Day clash, revamped finals series, and New Years Day bout at McDonald Jones Stadium.
The newly announced draw sees our originally scheduled Christmas Eve match against Western Sydney Wanderers moved to Boxing Day, while the Jets will also host Melbourne City on New Years Day evening.
APL has also announced a new finals series system will take place at the conclusion of the season.
Under the new finals format, the team finishing third on the ladder will host the side that comes sixth, while fourth will play fifth, both ties played as single finals. The sides that finished first and second on the ladder will play the two qualifiers in home-and-away semi-finals over two weekends, before the Grand Final follows on the fourth weekend of the finals.

The balance of the draw for the A-League Women’s competition will be released in the coming days.
