Newcastle Jets Youth will kick off its FOXTEL National Youth League 2016/17 Conference B campaign on Sunday 13 November at Magic Park in Broadmeadow.
At 4:00pm this Sunday afternoon Clayton Zane’s Jets Youth will challenge Western Sydney Wanderers Youth at the home of Broadmeadow Magic FC.
Admission is free and gates will open an hour before kick-off.
Last season Jets Youth performed strongly in the FOXTEL National Youth League, finishing second in Conference B just two points behind the eventually FNYL Champions Sydney FC. Jets Youth posted a record of five wins, one draw and two defeats from its eight games.
In fact, Newcastle were the only team to defeat Sydney FC Youth throughout the regular season, claiming a 2-1 win against the Sky Blues away from home and a 1-0 win at Magic Park in round 9.
Western Sydney Wanderers Youth finished last season in third place in Conference B with a record of four wins, one draw and three defeats from its eight games. The teams played out a 3-3 draw in their last meeting at Magic Park on November 8 2015.
