2026 Season, Newcastle Jets Academy
Newcastle Jets Academy (Girls) is seeking a Youth Coach for our U16 Girls FNSW Youth League One (NPL) team for the 2026 season. This is a part-time, paid position.
Minimum Requirements
- Current FA/AFC B Licence or higher
- Working With Children Check and First Aid/CPR
- Right to work in Australia and a valid driver’s licence
Role Summary
Reporting to the Technical Director (Girls), the successful applicant will:
- Coach the U16 Girls team (training four mornings per week at Speers Point and matches in Newcastle/Sydney)
- Focus on player development aligned with the Academy’s playing philosophy
- Collaborate with staff to foster long-term player pathways and mentor youth players
- Build positive relationships with key stakeholders
- Identify and recruit players for current and future Academy squads
