Newcastle Jets can confirm that Jordan Elsey has departed the club after he requested an early release so that he could secure a long-term contract elsewhere.
Elsey made a total of 37 appearances across all competitions for the Jets, scoring three goals.
The Newcastle Jets would like to thank Jordan for his contribution to the Club and wish him all the best for his future.
The Club can also confirm that Rory Jordan will be loaned to APIA Leichhardt for the upcoming NPL NSW season.
Rory joined the Jets squad this season from Macarthur FC and the Club has made the move to loan him to provide him with important game time.
These changes now put the Club in a position where it is able to consider how it strengthens its squad for the second half of the season.
