Newcastle Jets are excited to announce that the club will hold its second School Holiday Clinic in 2016 this September. Powered by Slater & Gordon the Clinic will focus on skill development and tactical improvement for players aged eight to 14.
Coaches from the Club’s Westfield W-League and Emerging Jets systems will mentor players attending the Clinic. These coaches will include Jets Women’s Assistant Coach Ash Wilson, Westfield W-League Players Cassidy Davis and Jenna Kingsley, as well as other Emerging Jets coaches.
Players will also have the opportunity to meet the Club’s first team squad ahead of kick-off in the Hyundai A-League 2016/17 Season.
The Newcastle Jets September School Holiday Clinic will cater for varying skills levels, and players will be grouped accordingly. A maximum of 15 players will be placed in each group to ensure that each player receives individual attention on both days of the Clinic. All drills and sessions will be targeted at the skill level of the group to ensure that players get real value from the Clinic. Additionally there will be goalkeeper specific training.
