The Newcastle Jets are delighted to announce that Academy graduate Claire Adams has re-signed for the 2025/26 Ninja A-League season.
Adams, who graduated through the Club’s Academy, made her A-League debut during Round 3 of the 2024/25 season against the Wellington Phoenix in her hometown of Maitland.
Adams went on to make 16 appearances in her debut season, scoring one goal.
Adams said.
“It was a dream come true to make my debut and play my part in the season that’s just been.
I’ve been at this Club since I was nine and now, I’m ready to further make my mark on this team. From the conversations I’ve had with Stephen I can’t wait to link up with the staff and my teammates again and get ready for the new season.”
Newcastle Jets Head Coach Stephen Hoyle said.
“Claire is a young, talented local player who’s hungry to learn. We’ll challenge her to turn her football IQ into consistent actions in the final third, and I’m confident she’ll make the next steps to become a real attacking threat at A League level.”
