The Newcastle Jets are delighted to announce that academy product Christian Bracco has signed a scholarship deal for the 2025/2026 season.
Bracco has been an integral player in the Jets youth team over the past few seasons, helping the team to an unbeaten season in 2024. He has also made six appearances to date for the first team across the A-League and Australia Cup, first debuting against Western United in the 2024 Australia Cup.
The 21-year-old had this to say on his first professional deal,
“I’m extremely happy to sign my first professional contract with the Newcastle Jets. I’d like to thank the club and coaching staff for giving me this opportunity. I can’t wait to test my abilities, and I am looking forward to what’s ahead here at the Jets.”
A-League Men’s Head Coach Mark Milligan had this to say,
“Bracco has had to be patient for his opportunity. Coming off the back of another strong NPL season, he fully deserves this opportunity. He is a local player that embodies the direction we want to head in as a club and is a true reflection of the community we represent. He is a hardworking, honest player with a determination to be the best footballer he can be.”
