Newcastle Jets can confirm Ben Kantarovski has been ruled out for the season following a recent neurosurgical procedure.
After consultation with various leading medical experts in this field, it was deduced that surgical intervention was the 29-year-old’s best option for his long-term prospects.
Kantarovski underwent surgery on Monday and will rehabilitate over the coming months under the guidance of the Club’s medical staff.
