Bayliss selected for New Zealand Olympic Football Team

Newcastle Jets midfielder Lachlan Bayliss has been called up for New Zealand’s Football team to compete at the Paris Olympics.

Bayliss will join the OlyWHites squad as a travelling reserve player and is part of the 23-man squad.

The men’s team has been drawn in Group A at the tournament alongside hosts France, Guinea, and the USA.

The team starts their Paris 2024 campaign vs Guinea on Thursday 25 July in Nice, before facing the USA on Sunday 28 July, and France on Wednesday, 31 July, both in Marseille.
