Newcastle Jets are pleased to announce the signing of goalkeeper Michael Weier for the upcoming A-League Season. Weier, who stands at 6-foot-5, joins the Club making his way from the National Premier League (NPL) in Victoria. The 24-year-old spent time playing at Hume City, where he won consecutive Goalkeeper of the Year awards and the knockout Dockerty Cup, and Brisbane Strikers where he won multiple premierships. Weier said he’s excited for the opportunity to be compete at the A-League level.
