2024/25 Ninja A-League Fixtures announced

The Newcastle Jets are excited to announce the A-League Women’s 2024/25 season draw.

Off the back of a semi-final appearance in front of a record crowd of 6,836 at Maitland Sportsground, Ryan Campbell’s team will play four home games at the venue this season, up from two last year.

The Jets will open their campaign with a blockbuster clash against the Western Sydney Wanderers on Sunday 3 November (4pm kick-off) at No.2 Sportsground.

And in more exciting news, the Jets will host two double headers at McDonald Jones Stadium alongside the Men’s team.

The first double header will see the ALW side host Canberra United (7:45pm kick-off) in Round 13 and Melbourne City (7:45pm) in Round 15.

The venue for the Jets Round 13 clash against Perth will be announced in the coming weeks.

Newcastle Jets CEO Shane Mattiske said:

“Off the back of an excellent year, bringing back a very strong squad alongside several key additions, it is looking like another exciting season.

“We are pleased to take more games to Maitland. Who can forget the scenes at our semi-final when 6,836 fans attended, so we want to replicate that atmosphere as many times as we can.

“The APL also announced a new naming rights partner for the competition – the Ninja A-League. It is fantastic news and further proof women’s football in Australia is booming.”
