For requests that involve events, priority consideration will be given to applications that are submitted at least six (6) weeks prior to the event date. Applications must detail the purpose of the appearance and the expected commitments of the players.
It’s recommended that your event does not focus solely on a player appearance – instead, the player appearance should be used as an added ‘bonus’ to the event, program, or activity.
In order for our Community department to assist as best and as promptly as possible, be sure to fill in the below application form thoroughly and completely. Applications will be considered on a case by case basis, and not every request may be fulfilled.
Please note, all appearances are subject to last-minute cancellations due to injury/illness, or a change to training schedule. Decisions are final and at the sole discretion of the Newcastle Jets.
Players are not usually available for appearances:
- On match days
- Three days before a match
- During the off-season (from the date of their final game to the start of pre-season training)
- During the Isuzu A-League or Liberty A-League Finals Series
- During BYE weekends
- At destinations more than 2 hours or 150km away
