Ernie Merrick has named his squad to face the Western Sydney Wanderers at Spotless Stadium tomorrow night.

The Club’s Hyundai A-League squad has remained fairly settled over the opening rounds and that trend is set to continue, with a largely unchanged lineup has been named.

New Zealand international, Matt Ridenton is welcomed back into the squad, after missing Round 4 with a minor calf injury. The midfielder has trained strongly this week and will give his Head Coach plenty to consider before Friday.

New recruit, Kaine Sheppard is the only omission after sustaining a minor foot injury – which is expected to sideline him for the next four weeks.

Johnny Koutroumbis continues to improve his fitness and is already asking questions of Merrick. Depsite his eagerness to return to play, the Club will not be rushing the defender back after receiving the all clear from his cancer diagnosis.
