Earlier today the Newcastle Jets were at Merewether Beach for The Today Show-s live weather cross.
Invited to attend by Muffin Break-s ‘Muffin Man’, the Jets players and mascot were met with delight from the large number of school children in attendance.
The Jets used this opportunity to not only meet some of their Members and supporters but also to run skills clinics on the beach.
Players in attendance included Jeremy Brockie, Ryan Griffiths, Mario Simic, Taylor Regan and Jacob Pepper as well as the very popular Jet Man, who entertained the children with his dance moves and football skills.
As the event was coming to an end, the players departed for their final training session before Saturday’s home game against the Brisbane Roar.
