Second half comeback sees Jets take the victory

After a disappointing first half, our Jets managed to turn things around in the second half with two goals to seal the three points away from home.

Victory took the ascendency early in the game through multiple chances, and after having a goal disallowed for offside, they finally found their breakthrough in stoppage time with a Jake Brimmer goal.

Needing a revival, our team came out firing in the second half. Josh Brilliante saw a second yellow card and was removed from the field and almost immediately it looked as though we had the equaliser but Jason Hoffman’s goal was cancelled out for offside.

Nevertheless, the Jets didn’t stop, and managed a brilliant goal through Valentino Yuel before Beqa Mikeltadze slotted home the winner from the penalty spot soon after.

The victory now sees the Jets move to 11 points on the table and back within touching distance of the top six.

See below for the full play-by-play review of the game.
