The Newcastle Jets in conjunction with Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) will be conducting an Emerging Jets trial day on Sunday November 11.
The Newcastle Jets in conjunction with Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) will be conducting an Emerging Jets trial day on Sunday November 11.
Further trials for the 2013 U/15 and U/16 Emerging Jets (Boys) will be conducted on the morning of Sunday 11th November 2012, time and location will be confirmed following registration, for players who participated in the NNSWF Metropolitan State Youth League and Inter-district U/14A in season 2012.
Players who competed in lower divisions are required to seek approval to trial from NNSWF-s Technical Director in the first instance by emailing footballadmin@northernnswfootball.com.au.
There will also be additional trials for the 2013 U/12 and U/13 Emerging Jets on the morning of Sunday 11th November 2012. Players wishing to attend these trials are required to complete a registration form. The time and location of the trial will be emailed to registered players by Friday 9th November 2012.
Players who have already participated in previous trials will require approval to trial from NNSWF-s Technical Director in the first instance by emailing footballadmin@northernnswfootball.com.au.
Successful participants will be given the chance to participate in the 2013 Emerging Jets program.
The Emerging Jets Program will be administered by NNSWF and overseen by a Technical Committee. Two full-time Head Coaches in the Skill Acquisition (9 to 13 years) and Game Training (14 to 16 years) Phases will manage a number of part-time Team Coaches and Assistant Coaches.
Launched in September, the Emerging Jets program aims to create a pathway for players as young as ten to progress to the A-League and W-League.
In addition to training during the football season, the Emerging Jets will compete in various competitions conducted by NNSWF.
