Defending Asian Cup champions Japan open their Australian tournament at Newcastle Stadium on January 12, with a blockbuster game against the tournament underdogs, the winner of the Challenge Cup.
Newcastle will also host the important Group A match between Kuwait and Oman on January 17.
The city will host a Semi Final on March 27 and the 3rd v 4th playoff on January 30.
Tickets to all four Asian Cup games in Newcastle start from just $99 for a venue pack.
The family-friendly ticket prices mean a family of four can go to each of the group games in Newcastle from just $40.
“At the height of summer, with school holidays in full swing, and with such attractive prices, we look forward to welcoming Newcastle families and football fans,” Michael Brown, CEO of the tournament-s Local Organising Committee said.
“This will be a festival of football never seen before in Australia and Newcastle has some of the biggest games.”
Tickets will go on sale in two periods.
The first phase is for venue packs on May 7 for the football family and May 19 for the general public.
The second phase is for individual tickets on May 27 for the football family and June 2 for the general public.
