Telstra are the latest nationally recognised brand to partner with the club this Hyundai A-League campaign, and will be activating their partnership with the Jets by providing Members with some exclusive promotions over the coming months.

“Telstra’s Local Area Board is proud to connect with the Newcastle Jets,” Mr Clayton Mcseveney, Director from Telstra’s Hunter/Central Coast Area Board, said. “Telstra has over 1,000 staff, contractors and licensee staff in the region.”

“Many of our staff and customers are involved in football in the area and are passionate supporters of Newcastle Jets.

“Our support for the Jets builds on our partnership with Northern New South Wales Football (NNSWF) which supports youth players in high performance programs.

“We will be delighted to see some of those players one day represent the Newcastle Jets, play in the Hyundai A-League, and hopefully many will go on to represent Australia on the world stage,” Mcseveney concluded.

Newcastle Jets Interim Chief Executive Officer, Mr David Eland, said that Telstra’s commitment to football in the area ought to be applauded.

“Telstra recognise the power of football and its importance to the people and sporting fabric of Northern New South Wales, and are now partners of elite youth and senior football in the region,” Mr Eland said.

“The fact that Telstra now supports football at many age levels in Northern New South Wales highlights their belief in the game now and into the future, and this ought to be commended and appreciated by the football family.

“Newcastle Jets are certainly excited to have partnered with another exceptional brand and business, and we look forward to working closely with Telstra’s Local Area Board to deliver upon their strategic partnership goals,” Eland concluded.
