Katie Stengel

A winner of the U-20 Women’s World Cup with the USA, Katie Stengel knows exactly how to find the back of the net. The striker led the goal-scoring charts in her first season with the Jets in 2017/18 with ten goals, and netted five more for Utah Royals in the NWSL over the 2018 Australian winter. Stengel was born in Melbourne – but not the Victorian one, the Floridian one. The highlight of her time with the Jets so far would be her hat-trick in Newcastle’s 5-1 win over Canberra last season.
