The Hunter Ports Newcastle Jets paid a special visit to Our Lady of Victories Primary School in Shortland last week.

During their time at the school, Mark Birighitti, Mitch Cooper and Sam Galloway entertained the kids, signed autographs and participated in football skills activities.

“Its great to come out to schools, talk to the kids and spend fun time exercising outside- Mark commented, “The kids had loads of questions about who we are and what we do and it was a pleasure to chat with them”.

The Q and A session with the players was very entertaining and just about every child had a question to ask. Eventually the Headmaster had to call time and the students were split into groups for the outdoor activities.

Fellow Australian soccer player, Adam Hughes, organised the visit and coordinated the children-s football clinic.
