Jets forward Michael Bridges has polled highest in the Men of Football votes for his performance in Wednesday’s 2-1 win over Wellington Phoenix.
Mark Birighitti retains the overall lead with 609 votes for the season to date.Voting will go behind closed doors for the remaining four matches of the season.
Following each Newcastle Jets game the Men of Football nominate their best Jets on field by allocating 3 points, 2 points and 1 point and the player with the highest number of votes at the end of the season will be awarded the Ray Baartz Medal.
Each week, the votes will be posted on the Jets website along with a cumulative leaders tally. The final four rounds of voting won’t be published and the winner of the medal revealed at season’s end.
