Meanwhile, Young Socceroo Mitch Oxborrow has earned a call-up to the squad and could be in-line to make his first Hyundai A-League appearance of the season.
Jets head coach Gary van Egmond said the Friday-s clash with the Roar could be won and lost in the middle of the park.
“There-s no doubt that midfield battle is going to be very crucial for the outcome of the game, so all three of our midfielders will definitely have to be on their game,” van Egmond said.
