Sporty Kids welcome Emile Heskey and some of his teammates this Saturday for their Preschooler Game Day Class at Upper Reserve, Wallsend.

After playing on the big stage at half time during the Jets and Sydney FC game in December, the Sporty Kids are excited to bring the Jets to their training field.

Sporty Kids coach John Mortimer said, “At Sporty Kids, we teach skills by making it fun by channeling their exuberance, developing skills, increasing confidence, independence, team work and enjoyment.

“Game Day is a unique program that gives kids not only skill but also love of sport before they move on to small-sided football.

“It will be great to have the Jets here with us as we celebrate the kids graduating from our Game Day program, and we are sure the kids will also get some skills and confidence from the players to take into their next adventure.”

The Hunter Sports Group owned Newcastle Jets are proud supporters of the Sporty Kids program.

“We are pleased we can support this fantastic Newcastle business that encourages young kids to be healthy and active,” Hunter Sports Group CEO Troy Palmer said.

“Both of my children Hunter and Hugo are part of the program and they have loved every minute of it. It has been particularly great for their social and sporting skills.”
