Gains: Jason Culina, Chris Payne, Matt Nash, Mario Simic, Sam Gallaway, and James Virgili
Losses: Sasho Petrovski, Adam D-Apuzzo, Neil Young, Zhang Shuo, Kaz Patafta, Brodie Mooy, Ljubo Milicevic, Marcello Fiorentini
One to watch: “Ruben Zadkovich – I really think that he will be ready to step up this season, with our added strength in the midfield, Ruben will be a big threat going forward.”
Big Year for: “Entire squad! After missing the play-offs last season our group is focused on being there at the business end.”
Easing into Pre-Season: “Jason Culina and Ben Kantarovski are currently in the rehab group and are expected to join the main group within 4-5 weeks.
We all know what a class player Jason is, however to get a full season out of Ben is going to be a huge boost for our team.”
What can the players expect: “A more thorough pre-season. Our first week will be focused on inductions and introducing the new policies and procedures for our players.
Players will have individual assessments with the strength and conditioning staff to aid in tailoring player specific programs where appropriate.
We have spent a lot of time in the off-season ensuring a great ‘off-field” support network is available for our group.”
Still in the market for: “We are still searching for a Marquee Striker and a Central Defender.”
