The Hunter Ports Newcastle Jets wish to clarify a variety of enquiries following the Club-s decision not to offer Tarek Elrich a contract for the 2012/13 season.
The Jets made an original offer to Elrich prior to Christmas (2011), which he and his manager declined, seeking higher payment.
Since then, the coaching and medical team decided that Elrich no longer fitted into their up-tempo plans and did not revisit the offer.
The Club again thanks Elrich for his contribution to the Jets.
The Jets look forward to a number of other announcements, similar to today-s signing of Craig Goodwin and Scott Neville, over the next few months.
