Ben Kantarovski

Upon joining the Newcastle Jets at age 15, Kantarovski became the youngest player in A-League history to sign a full time A-League contract. He has since signed a two-year contract extension keeping him at the Jets until the end of 2015/16. The midfielder made his Jets debut in Round 1 of the 2008/09 season and finished the year being named the Jets Player of the Season. The Olyroos representative missed parts of the 2013/14 with a knee injury, but with a full pre-season under his belt, there’s no doubt Kanatarovski will be looking to be heavily involved 2014/15. His maturity and composure will be integral for the team in the year ahead and his versatility is an added bonus.
