The Newcastle Jets are delighted to announce that Nigel Boogaard will return to the Club as the new General Manager of Football.
Boogaard will focus on managing the A-League Men’s and Women’s roster as well as providing direction to player development leading the Club’s Academy and Pre-Academy.
Born and raised in Newcastle, Boogaard’s playing career was spread across 16 seasons in the A-League. He made 122 appearances for the Newcastle Jets with 121 of those as Captain.
The Novocastrian is thrilled to be returning to the Jets.

Boogaard will formally commence his role on the 1st August.
